Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) -- One on One Parenting Support
Triple P-which stands for Positive Parenting Program is one of the world’s most effective parenting programs. This program works by giving parents the skills to raise confident, healthy children, and to build stronger family relationships. It helps to manage children’s misbehavior and prevent problems occurring early on.
Parents are given some simple and practical strategies they can adapt to suit their own values and beliefs about what their child’s needs. Parents of children ages 0-12 can meet with a practitioner over several sessions about a particular problem behavior concern they have with their child. You will discuss the causes of the misbehavior and learn ways to prevent the misbehavior. For example, Triple P Parenting topics to address may include: bedtime problems, temper tantrums, disobedience, doing chores, going to the grocery store, sharing and many more topics addressed thru use of a variety of topic tip sheets. Parents meet with parent educator for 4 or 10-week sessions and program is offered on a sliding scale. To sign up email [email protected].
