As the Family Connects pilot grant has come to a close, we are thrilled to announce that AppHealthCare has stepped forward to continue the program in Watauga, Ashe and Avery counties with the exciting potential for expansion! (See the link below.) The program services will not change, only the name. The new name is "Mother-Baby Home Visiting". The nursing staff will remain the same and the quality of care will not change. We know that these services are the standard of care in other areas of the state, country and world and we are grateful that it is available to our high country parents as well!
